Where I'm at home

                                                      Where I'm at home

Where cabbage
 trees dance.

Where ferns sway
 in the breeze.

Where moss shake
 as the wind blows past.

Where oak
trees have a tantrum and rip off their acorns.

Where  a cat lies under the trees ready
to pounce on the next bird that flies past.

Where fantails
dance to the wind.

Where bushes feel the wind
when the wind races past it.

Where leaves fall as
the wind catches them.

Where grass sunbathes under the golden
sun as if it was at the beach.

That is home!!!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm learning to connect and help build an image in the reader’s mind.
I am going well because I have connected to the beach for example where grass sun baves under the golden sun as if it was at the beach.
My next step is to use more personification.
